Wego has announced that its travel app is fully optimised for iPhone Duo, with an updated experience available from the device’s first day of availability on Friday, 23 October 2026. The company said the optimised version will allow travellers to search, compare and book flights and hotels using the handset’s unfolded display.
In a release dated 26 October 2026, the travel platform said the app will be available in both English and Arabic. Wego stated that the unfolded screen would let users view more flight and hotel features at once, compare options more easily, and navigate their booking journey with greater convenience. When folded, the company said the app will continue to provide the “familiar” Wego experience for searching, planning and accessing bookings on the go.
Wego positioned the update as part of its broader technology and product adaptation efforts, referencing “recent AI integrations” that it says enable personal AI assistants to access live flight fares and hotel rates through Wego.
App update available via the App Store
The company said the optimised Wego app would be provided as a free update through the App Store. It added that existing users can update to access the enhanced experience, while new users can download “Wego Flights & Hotels Booking” to start planning and booking trips.

In the announcement, Duncan Reid, Chief Operating Officer at Wego, said that travellers want technology that makes trip planning easier, and that the unfolded display creates opportunities to show more information for comparing flights and hotels. Reid added that optimising Wego for iPhone Duo from day one is intended to help travellers use the experience immediately, whether they are exploring destinations or ready to book.
